Update #1 – May 9th, 2022

Hello cat friends!

I’m slowly rolling out more features to the website to help make the usage more enjoyable.

For the first update, i’ve added unique pages for each submission so that you have a permanent link to share around that will query the submission’s image, details, contact info, and pinpoints the location that was submitted. I’m doing this initially to avoid users needing to dig through all of the pins to find their post or someone else’s post and allows users to bookmark a submission.

Also, some UI improvements. Better map and filter box autohides/toggled on mobile and can be toggled on desktop

Keep an eye out for more updates. Some things to possibly look forward to:

• User registration to manage individual’s posts
• Photo gallery of all cats submitted (community requested)
• Possibly a mailing list (community requested)
  

As always, feel free to reach out to me @ [email protected] and please spread the word about the site whenever you see someone post a submission of a lost or a found cat. It’s purely crowdsourced so the more people we get to use it, the more effective it can become.
