Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do if I find a friendly cat that I think is someone’s pet?
A few things, if possible.
1. Submit a report here on Geolocats.com with as much details as possible
2. If possible, kennel the cat and try to get it scanned for an RFID chip. This is available for free at any veterinarian clinic
3. View submissions on this page near where you found the cat to see if there are any posts that matches the cat you’ve found.
4. View lost cat submissions on Hawaiian Humane Society’s website.
5. You may also find postings of lost cats in groups such as Catopia Hawaii and Cat People of O’ahu. For Maui, there’s the Good Cat Network Maui.
